Yes, we know it's been said before, but we just want to thank you all again for participating in the fest. We love each and every author, artist, prompter, reviewer and lurker (yes, we know you're out there :P) because without you this fest would have not been so much fun to run and be a part of.
All this being said, this was our first time running a fest, so we'd love to get feedback on how you think it went so we can improve upon things for next year. A number of you have already told us that you enjoyed it/loved it etc in comments on other posts, but now here's a chance to elaborate on that if you want to.
Was there anything you didn't like?
Was there that could be improved?
Was there anything you don't want us to change?
Is there anything you would like to see added to the fest?
Pretty much you can tell us anything.
All we ask is that if you do have any criticisms please voice them politely. Comments are screened.
This is likely the last post you'll see from us in a while, so we hope you all have a great year! ♥

Date: 2012-01-05 02:17 pm (UTC)First, this has been one of the most interactive fests I've ever been a part of. I loved the meme and your occasional reminders! More than anything, I appreciated how you each spent time reading and reviewing our work before posting it (btw, thank you again for catching the couple of mistakes that were left in mine. Your eagle eyes were much appreciated!) and even went out of your way to comment on each story individually. I think people are nervous to be the first to say something and the fact that you both went out of your way to smooth that over was fantastic. Your time really means alot to me (and to the rest of the writers/artists, I'm sure!).
Second, you guys were super quick! Any questions/issues I had were answered in less than a day (and no, it's not because one of you is on my flist. ;D) and you guys started posted so soon after submissions! You timed these stories out great and it made it so easy to enjoy them on my way to work or on my way home. I didn't read much of
Third, ILU. You're perfect. Thanks. ♥

Date: 2012-01-05 02:35 pm (UTC)I would have preferred to have the entries on LJ though instead of clicking on the dreamwidth link, then clicking through the "Discretion Advised" every time and then clicking back to LJ to comment. A lot of clicks even if the fic was short.
I'm also a person who prefers longer entries to be posted in parts on LJ rather than relying on an off-site hosting.

Date: 2012-01-05 03:51 pm (UTC)We actually debated for the longest time on how to post everything. Initially we were going to post on LJ, with longer fics in parts, but the last really bad DDoS attack was just before and around the time we started posting and so we made the decision that posting on DW was for the best in that case. If it hadn't have been for the unreliability of LJ at the time, everything would have been posted here.

Date: 2012-01-05 11:14 pm (UTC)I'm afraid I don't have any more helpful suggestions. Just wanted to drop a note and say I appreciated how organized (but friendly) this fest was. Thank you!
